WLDHRT

In this project, I had the opportunity to work alongside the Singer and Songwriter himself. 

The dilemma that we were faced with in creating the imagery for WLDHRT was building a brand from the ground up, while the artist was also preoccupied with writing and producing the album.

In creating the album brand, we noted the processes and needs of creating an online presence, ranging everywhere from banners to animations, and previews of the musical track.

WLDHRT found visual inspiration in Double Exposure and the ambiguity of the symbolism that could be found in that imagery. 

We embraced this idea throughout the brand, either dividing the artist’s visage with the imagery he found meaningful to himself, or through photos depicting the emotions and vibes he portrayed in his music. 

We also favored san serif fonts, and black and white (save for extremely desaturated hues) palettes to embrace the strong contrast in the double exposed imagery. 

From this, we accomplished creating everything from digital media (like social banners and Instagram live animations) to printed CDs and envelopes for mass production.
